In the version release of May we have continued to develop the Date of Birth field and edited the main menu from the part of old salary related reports. We have also made several usability improvements, for example, to payment error handeling.
In the previous version release (v51) in April, we released the Date of Birth field to the Person register. In the version release of May (v52), we continue to develop the field further, and now the age of the employee is primarily calculated from the Date of Birth field. The following reports and views now calculate the employer's age from the Date of Birth field:
If the Date of Birth field is empty, the age can still be calculated from the ID field, if possible. There is no impact to the employees, whose age has been calculated from the ID field earlier. If dummy ID has been used for the employee, now the actual date of birth can be entered for the employee.
In the version release of May, we edited the main menu from the part of old salary related reports. The reports in question have not been in active use since the Incomes register was taken into use. In the future, the following reports can be found from the main menu by selecting Notifications > Not in use:
We will not change the postings for the salary type 3055 Bicycle benefit, counted as salary in Procountor environments created before 22nd of May 2021. Default postings for salary types can be changed in Default salary posting rules view (Management > Accounting info > Posting defaults > Default salary posting rules). On the view the salary type can be searched and then the postings can be changed. Then changes can be saved with Save changes button.
