The January update will include new salary types and a new holiday pay calculation basis that can be enabled in holiday pay calculation settings. Additionally, we will release Income tax return form 5 for business operators and self-employed persons for tax year 2020 in this January release.
Due to the changes in the Incomes Register income types, we have changed the names of some of the salary types and added new salary types in version 48.0.0. We began the implementation of these salary type changes in 2020, and the previous salary type changes can be found here.
Other salary type changes
It has been possible to select the salary types affecting holiday pay for different calculation bases in Management > Salary info > Holiday pay settings (collective agreement). These settings determine what salary types affect the cumulation of holiday pay and what are the factors for calculating holiday pay. The collective agreement is determined in the employee register for each employee.
From the January version update onwards, the salary types affecting holiday pay can be selected using the calculation basis “Monthly plus shift compensations”.
